Minolta AF101R

What makes this camera unique?

Red-eye reduction was not yet a standard feature on entry-level models in the late 1980s. Minolta included it anyway, placing the AF101R a step above the most basic compact cameras of its time. The manual flash switch also gives you a little more control than a fully automatic flash.

A piece of history

The AF101R is part of Minolta's wide range of affordable compact cameras from the 1980s and 1990s. Minolta was known for its high-quality optics, even in its entry-level models. Less in the spotlight than the Riva series, but built to the same factory standard.
